Restoration CDC is boldly committed to ending homelessness and revitalizing communities in South Los Angeles

WHAT WE DO

Restoration Community Development Corporation (RCDC) is on a mission to cure homelessness and revitalize communities in the South Los Angeles area.

In 2015, we piloted a one-stop-shop approach to improve engagement with people experiencing homelessness. This was done by activating faith-based organizations, and partnering with social service agencies to develop a program where comprehensive services are resources were available to the community in a central location.

Today, our program has grown to serve more than 12,000 individuals experiencing homelessness and continues to add value to our community by expanding our reach and services.

OUR PHILOSPHY
RADICAL HOSPITALITY

We believe that Radical Hospitality restores dignity to those experiencing homelessness.

The concept of Radical Hospitality is something we adopted from our mentors at Lava Mae who changed the way services were delivered to those experiencing homelessness.

Radical Hospitality requires one to treat others with respect, kindness, and dignity. It requires the ability to ignore stigmas and stereotypes and see people for who they are as human beings...and not as products of their circumstances.

Radical Hospitality is about going above and beyond to make others feel seen, and recognizing that positive human connections are vital to the health of humanity.
